Workshops

Little Treasures of Jannah Workshops are run in Birmingham (United Kingdom) in a local community Masjid and Education Centre in Sparkhill/Moseley. Alhumdulillah since our first workshop in June 2015, we have steadily developed our team and teaching resources and have covered a range of Islamic topics in a fun and engaging manner.

Our workshops are topic related and resources are carefully selected and prepared to ensure children are engaged, have fun and learn from each task. Sessions are run for two age ranges: 3 years to 6 years and 7 years to 11 years and we have a reasonable mixture of girls and boys. We recommend parents to stay with young children for comfort for the children and to also develop parent and child bonding.

Some of our workshops also have fund-raising theme, where we have raised awareness of a specific cause and have raised funds for that cause. Once such workshop ‘Gifting Love’ raises awareness of the Shoebox for Syria appeal, and children attending purchase gifts and pack Eid gifts for the children of Syria. This is one of our repeated workshops and in 2017 we packed 133 shoeboxes and raised £300!

Alhumdulillah, our workshops continue to progress and we make Du’aa for all of our volunteers and all the children who attend.
